What it's for
You can sign in to ProjectCAPEX in two ways: with your email address and a password, or with your Google account. Single sign-on through your company's identity provider is not available today.
Before you start
You need
- If you signed up with email and password, your account confirmed from the link we emailed you
- Your email address and password, or a Google account
- Pop-ups allowed for app.projectcapex.com, if you use Google
Sign in with email and password
- Open the log-in page
Go to app.projectcapex.com/login. The page is headed Welcome back to ProjectCAPEX.
- Enter your details
Type your Email and Password.
- Log in
Select Log in. You land on Home. Any invitations waiting for your email address are accepted for you.
Sign in with Google
On the web, the log-in and sign-up pages show Google's own Continue with Google button. It opens Google's account chooser in a small pop-up window, which names our domain. Pick your account and you are signed in.
Where Google's button cannot load, for example when a browser blocks it, you see our own Continue with Google button instead. It takes you to Google's sign-in page in the same window and brings you back afterwards. The desktop and mobile app builds, which are not released yet, use this redirect too.
Reset a forgotten password
- Ask for a link
On the log-in page, select Forgot your password?, enter your Email and select Send reset link.
- Check your inbox
If an account exists for that address, we send a link. The page says the same thing either way, so it never reveals whether an address has an account.
- Choose a new password
Open the link, enter a New password and Confirm new password, then select Update password.
Reset links work once and for a limited time. If a link has expired, the page says This link has expired: select Request a new one.
Change your password or sign out everywhere
In Settings, Password and security, enter a New password (at least 8 characters) and Confirm password, then select Update password. Under Active sessions, Sign out of all devices signs you out here and on every other device.
Good to know
- Signing out forgets the AI key saved on that device. See AI settings and your own key.
- Passwords are stored as hashes by Supabase Authentication.
