What it's for

ProjectCAPEX has personal plans, which belong to a person, and company plans, which belong to a company. Prices are in US dollars. Guests (people with the Stakeholder role) are free on every plan, and people who only sign a document by e-signature need no account.

Personal plans

A personal plan covers companies you own. Every one includes every Professional feature and AI with your own key.

  • Solo: $39 a month, or $32 a month billed annually ($384 a year). One company you own, chosen by you. You edit, with up to 25 free guests and unlimited projects.
  • Lifetime Solo: $599, paid once. Everything in Solo, for life, with no subscription to renew. There is no trial: try Solo first.
  • Consultant: $59 a month, or $49 a month billed annually ($588 a year). Every client company you own, with up to 25 free guests per client and unlimited projects.

Company plans

A company plan is priced per editor. An editor is anyone in the company who is not a guest.

  • Team: $29 per editor a month, or $24 billed annually. 3 to 10 editors, 10 free guests, up to 3 active projects, and the core modules: plan, RAID and governance.
  • Professional: $59 per editor a month, or $49 billed annually. Unlimited editors, 25 free guests, every module, dashboards, e-signature, and agents with your own AI key.
  • Enterprise: quoted for your organisation. Everything in Professional, with unlimited guests, a contract, invoicing and dedicated support.

How to start a personal trial

  1. Open Your plan

Select your avatar, then Your plan, or go to Settings and the Your plan tab.

  2. Choose monthly or annual

The toggle above the cards switches the prices shown.

  3. Start the trial

On Solo or Consultant, select Start 14-day trial. No card is needed, and you can start one trial.

  4. Choose the company

For Solo, use Company this plan covers to pick the company you own, then Save. Consultant covers every company you own.

How to choose or change a plan

Online checkout is not open yet. Selecting Choose plan (or Talk to us for Enterprise) opens a short form with the Plan, Billing and an optional Message. Sending it opens an email to us in your mail app, and we set up the plan for you. Personal plans are chosen in Settings, Your plan. Company plans are chosen in Company admin, Subscription and usage. See Company admin.

Good to know

  • A company covered by its owner's personal plan gets Professional features. Settings, Workspaces shows "Covered by your Solo plan" or similar next to it.
  • Role-based access is included on every plan, Team included. The plan decides which modules a company has. Each person's role decides what they can change. See Roles and permissions.
  • More editors in a company need a company plan, Team or Professional.
  • If a client already pays for ProjectCAPEX, join its company as an editor on its plan. You do not pay twice.
  • When a trial ends, the plan stops covering your companies until you choose one. Your projects and data stay.
  • AI costs nothing extra: each person pays their own AI provider. See AI settings and your own key.
  • Single sign-on is not available today.

Who can do this

Anyone can choose a personal plan for themselves. A company plan is requested by the company owner, or by an Admin with billing access. See Roles and permissions.
